Winter:

Balme-Vallorcine-Le Tour ski area accessible from the chalet at a two minutes walking distance up to a new 8 persons’ gondola, a blue skiing ski slope will allow you to come back skiing and riding up to the front of the chalet the Anatase (if enough snow). 21 ski slopes, 2 gondolas, 2 chair lifts, 6 teleskis.

Beginners and family oriented ski area Vallorcine La Poya at 3 kms from the Anatase : 2 teleskis and 4 kms of ski slopes.

12 km of cross country skiing trails in the village. Snowshoeing trails. Ski Joaring. Free Outside Ice Rink.

From Vallorcine, you are at 8 kms from the Grands Montets ski area and the Argentière glacier.

You are as well close to 10 other ski areas from the Chamonix Mont Blanc valley : Le Brevent, La Flégère, L’Aiguille du Midi and the famous Valley Blanche, Les Houches and some small ones La Vormaine, Le Savoy, Les Chosalets, Les Bossons, Les Planards, Les Pélerins.

Verbier Switzerland and Courmayeur Italy ski areas at 45 minutes far by car. Megeve ski area is located at one hour far from the Chalet L'Anatase.

Summer:

From may, hiking trails, mountain biking, alpinism, paragliding, rock climbing, canyonnering… everything is possible.

During spring, summer and fall, the Chalet L’Anatase welcomes its hosts in its green alpine meadow jewelry case.

Cable car running to access Balme hiking meadows or to climb to Albert 1er mountain hut. Visiting Vallorcine, our small rural and mountain village, through easy or challenging hiking trails and around the traditional habitat, is a true way to encounter the Mont Blanc valley unhabitants.
